Pleural Mesothelioma is related to lung cancer but it is not caused due to smoking, most commonly lung cancer is caused by excess of smoking but pleural Mesothelioma is caused by asbestos. The general symptoms of Mesothelioma are shortness of breath due to pleural diffusion, chest pain, and weight loss. Whereas the peritoneal Mesothelioma is concerned it attacks the peritoneum lining the abdominal cavity, this type almost affects one-third of the Mesothelioma patients. Pericardial Mesothelioma is the rare form which occurs in human beings; it attacks the lining surrounding the Heart.
It was assumed that the uncommon malignant Mesothelioma has very great importance in the past few years because there are cases which are found due to exposure to Asbestos particles (The most common type of cause is Asbestos). The most common type of cause Asbestos which create the malignant cells and tissue which cause Mesothelioma Cancer but there are also different causes that determines malignant cells such as asbestos exposures , other minerals(zeolites, tremolite, talc) radiation collapsotherapy, Simian Virus, tobacco, chronic irritation and inflammation, imunoproliferative disorders, genetic susceptibility. These above are some of the mineral which cause Malignant Mesothelioma but the principle cause of Mesothelioma is exposure to asbestos, asbestos most commonly found in the construction side, it is strong it conducts electricity poorly but insulate effectively , it is most commonly used because i other substances available to combine the same quality. Asbestos was basically used in constructing building, renovation of schools, offices etc which has asbestos minerals in large quantity; once these particles are inhaled it can cause Mesothelioma.
The other fiber which causes Mesothelioma is Zeolites (crionite type) it occurs from volcano rocks. There is virus called Simian virus which also cause Mesothelioma in human but it is not clarify because there is no full proof research of this virus.
